NOTHING’S IMPOSSIBLE!

What is hope? Hope is that living thing at the center of our being that fuels and propels our faith. It is our desires. Without hope there is no reason for faith. Hope says, I want. Faith says, I can have. Without faith hope dies. without hope there’s no reason for faith and so faith dies.

What is faith? The bible says that faith is the substance, confidence, assurance, that our wants, desires, and expectations are not only possible, but guaranteed. think about that for a minute.

Faith and hope fuel us on as we scale each torturous crag on the daunting journey. They are all we have in the midst of darkness, weariness, defeat, and despair. They are essential when this universe is repeatedly thundering, “NO!!!!

Still breathing? Even with our last breath faith and hope compel. With faith and hope we are the little engine that can. Nothing is impossible!

So, if you are struggling today with dashed hopes or failing faith be quiet and listen. I promise, if you will shut out the world’s noise, and take time to really listen to your heart, you will hear again the hum of those two powerful warriors, Faith and Hope, like a steam engine, chug,     chug,      chug,    chug,   –   chug-chug,    chug-chug,    chug-chug chugging on. All Aboard!

Matthew 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.   (NIV)

needed this very much today. Good to be reminded faith even the size of a mustard seed. Why is it so easy to doubt? Again thank you Liz for sharing. A lot going on in our family and I know it is the devil trying to destroy our faith.
