Happy 80th Ma!

 Ma

Ma (new oldie) use for poem!

Fair as porcelain is her skin

Rosy are her cheeks

Blue the diamonds in her eyes

And ruby-red her lips

Raven are the tresses wild

Tied neath her silken square

Capable her tender hands

Her smile as light as air

My mother started to sing the chorus of this song to my then fiance’, back in 1983/4.  And she always sang it in this fun way which had us all laughing. Some sing it all depressed, but her way of singing it was so much more fun. Hubby and I still sing it to this day! LOL  Thanks Ma! :-)

Sorry I’m late, but how sweet! Both the poem and the song, which I’m pretty sure I’ve heard before but I’d love to hear your ma sing it. Happy Birthday to her!
