What is in the heart of man
Only God can know
Judging Eye can never see
Or tell what lies below
For mind of man, self-rightly pureĀ
Is blocked by God’s decree
For what it sees or feign endures
Is but creative liberty
And what, pray tell, the state such mind
And heart that judges so?
But lost in dark confusion
And dancing toe to toe
With he that judges and condemns
The lost and loved of God
By cheating weights and measures
And sowing vile discord
What end of he that sits in seat
To God alone belongs
Condemnation’s his sure fate
For he himself condemned.
Matthew 7:1-2
Do not judge or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the same measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Jesus died and rose again to take away our condemnation. I am forever grateful. Thanks for the reminder not to point a finger in judgment lest it point back at me. Blessings to you, Elizabeth…

Well said, Carol Ann. No matter how righteous we may deem our judgements, they are still judgements we are levying against ourselves.
